Tiers recognise creators whose articles consistently reach readers. See what each tier requires and how you move up.
How progression works
Creator tiers are separate from your membership plan. Every creator on a paid plan starts at the first tier and moves up automatically; there is nothing to apply for.

1. Publish and build readership
Your reads, reading sessions, followers and published articles are tracked for you.

2. Regular reviews
About every 30 days, your activity over the last 30 days is compared with each higher tier's requirements.

3. Move up
When you meet every requirement of a higher tier at a review, you move up to it.

Questions about tiers
No. Your membership plan (Basic or Premium) is what you pay for and lets you write and earn. Your creator tier reflects how widely your articles are read and is earned, not bought.
No. Reviews happen automatically, about every 30 days, based on your activity over the previous 30 days.
Reviews currently only move creators up. Tier rules may change over time, and tiers can be adjusted where content or activity breaks our Terms of Service.
Genuine reader activity on your published articles. Content and activity excluded from monetization, such as spam or artificial reads, doesn't count.
